Imtiaz Ahmed Babu (also known as Babu Mian) is a Bangladeshi tech enthusiast, IT entrepreneur, web developer, and digital content creator. Overcoming a lack of formal education and navigating through various difficult life obstacles, he has established himself as a successful entrepreneur through his indomitable curiosity and the innovative use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He is the founder of the international horror story platform, Horror World Global.

Early Life & Childhood

Imtiaz Ahmed Babu was born on August 25, 1998, in the Chhaner Masjid area of Char Sarbandia village, Gazirtek Union, under Charbhadrasan Police Station in the Faridpur District of Bangladesh.

From a very young age, he had a strong inclination towards an open environment and hands-on, practical work rather than being confined within the four walls of formal education. Due to his restless and daredevil nature, he was more deeply immersed in the thrilling activities of rural life than attending school. Often skipping classes, he spent his time doing diverse and adventurous activities like driving heavy power tillers (engine-driven tractors) in the fields, catching fish from rivers and canals, playing marbles (guli) with friends, catching wild birds, and raising pigeons as a hobby.

However, alongside this restless nature, he possessed an innate curiosity for science and technology. His extraordinary mental ability to create various new devices using abandoned batteries and chargers, as well as his skill to perform any mathematical calculation verbally and extremely fast, manifested early in his childhood.

Education & The Start of His Career

His formal education began at a BRAC school. After finishing his studies there, he enrolled in the mainstream first grade and successfully passed the second grade to reach the third. However, after advancing to the third grade, he began to have frequent absences (gaps) from school. At one point, he almost stopped going entirely. After a long break, he enrolled directly into the fourth grade, but having been away from studies for so long, his foundation in formal education had become incredibly weak. Having a far more intense interest in machinery than in books, he decided to step completely beyond the boundaries of institutional education and directly enter practical working life.

At the beginning of his career, he started learning hands-on electronics repair at a local master's (Ustad's) shop. He quickly mastered tasks like repairing sound boxes, TVs, and CD/DVD players, and eventually left the master's shop as a highly skilled technician.

Curiosity About Websites & Coding Struggles

Right after leaving the master's shop, a strange and primal curiosity about the internet, websites, and horror topics (ghosts) was born in his mind. He had absolutely no idea about websites at the time. He used to wonder in sheer amazement—how do these websites actually work? Who builds them? Is this infinite amount of information stored in the sky, or does it float in the air?

Amidst this lack of knowledge, a web design video by 'IT Bari' suddenly appeared before him. Despite having no formal English background or higher education, he purchased a CD course with his hard-earned savings of 1,400 BDT. Thus began his struggle-filled journey into web design. But while learning to code, he faced a bizarre problem: the more he advanced in learning new code, the more he forgot the previous ones he had learned. The exact same thing happened when trying to learn programming languages like PHP and Python. The continuous failure to remember past codes despite hours of immense effort made him extremely frustrated psychologically. Trapped in this cycle of repeatedly forgetting code, he was eventually forced to completely give up all hopes of web development.

Business at Hajiganj Market & The Devastating Fire

After giving up on coding, he fully focused on mobile and electronics repair, establishing his own shop in Hajiganj Market. In the modern era of smartphones, he flawlessly mastered highly complex tasks like IC (Integrated Circuit) repair and display replacement by watching merely 10 to 12 YouTube videos, without ever taking any institutional course. Because of his extraordinary skills, people from far away—even from Faridpur city—would come to him to get their mobile phones fixed. The business was running incredibly well.

But amidst this success, a devastating fire completely burned his shop in Hajiganj Market to ashes. Even after facing this massive financial loss, he did not give up. In 2019, he purchased brand-new inventory and built his business from zero all over again.

Return to Tech via the Era of AI Technology

About 6 years after quitting coding, the arrival of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies (such as Gemini and ChatGPT) completely turned his life around.

Although he had forgotten his previous coding knowledge, he accurately understood the potential of AI. In December 2025, a friend of his residing in Saudi Arabia needed an e-commerce website for his business. It was then that Imtiaz bought his first domain and hosting. This time, there was no need to memorize code. Utilizing the flawless instructions of AI (Gemini), he started designing and developing highly professional quality websites using WordPress, custom HTML, CSS, and PHP.

Ventures & Organizations

Horror World Global: The intense curiosity about horror stories that developed in him after leaving the master's shop was finally brought to reality a long time later, in 2026. He established an international digital platform called 'Horror World Global', which broadcasts horror content globally in 10 different languages. Through the creation of perfect atmospheric settings (such as the flawless environment of a traditional thatched hut) and highly advanced audio design, it creates a truly unique and cinematic experience for its listeners.

Personal Life

This extremely hardworking, self-reliant, and visionary man keeps his family at the very center of his life alongside his busy work schedule. In his personal life, he is married; his wife's name is Sabiha Islam, and they have a son named Shehzad Ahmed Sajid.

Despite facing hundreds of obstacles—losing everything in a fire, dealing with a lack of institutional education, and suffering the failure of repeatedly forgetting code—nothing could stop Imtiaz Ahmed Babu. His life is a unique and inspiring story of indomitable willpower, severe hard work, and rising from the ashes like a Phoenix bird with the help of modern technology.
